PASTOR GILBERT’S CHURCH CONSTRUCTION

In the Philippines

We are in Tarlac for 9 days before we go to Ilagan Isabelle for 7 days. Then we finish up the trip with 5 days in Cagayan de Oro. We are looking for and seeing many souls saved and many miraculous healings taking place.

We are having 7 nights of campaign meetings throughout the central region in the state of Luzon in the Philippines. From where I am staying, we have travelled 7 hours by van to our furthest destination. God is faithfully meeting the needs of the people and I want to give God all of the glory. I want to share some answers to prayer:

We were asked to go to a woman’s house who had Alzheimer’s disease and all of her joints were in pain due to arthritis. After prayer, she got up and started walking back and forth across her living room. She told us that all of the pain was gone.

A woman came to the altar and you could see a small growth on her neck. As we started to pray for her within seconds the growth totally disappeared.

The next woman we prayed for had just had a stroke. She struggled to walk and even stand up. But after we prayed for her, I had her walk back and forth across the altar. She said she could now walk fine but she still felt a heaviness in her legs. We prayed for her again and the heaviness left her. She was just as healthy as she was before she had the stroke. Somebody give God the glory.

A woman told me that her whole right side was in pain but as we prayed, all the pain left. The next woman came and her right arm was in pain and she could barely move it. But as we prayed, the Lord healed her and she started swing her arm around and around. In all 50 people reported that they were healed in tonight’s revival meeting. Glory to God.  After each person got healed, I would have them pray along with me for the next person that needed prayer because they were all full of compassion. The Lord was using these church members as well as myself tonight.

Praise the Lord. In one meeting, six young men gave their life to Christ. Five of them told me they had been drinking regularly. They did not want to be bound by alcohol any more. They want to serve Jesus. Praise God forever!

At the end of our altar call in our last meeting here, I called all of the young people to come forward and to line up across the altar. There were over 50 people there. As they all started to pray and I started touching them in my prayer, the Holy Spirit fell upon every one of them rapidly. They were all overcome by the presence of God. They were filled with God’s love while they were pouring their hearts out before the Lord for about 15 minutes. After the altar call, I was talking to several of the teenagers. One young man who was 16 years old told me he felt God was calling him to be a Pastor. One of the girls said she felt God was calling her to be a missionary. They told me they want to start a Christian club at school. The young man who wants to be a Pastor has started a club in his school and he said many people attend the meetings including the Principal and several teachers. I want to thank you personally for praying for this mission. Your prayers are being answered and lives are being transformed daily here. God bless you!

ANSWER TO PRAYER!

We prayed that God would multiply our small offering to these super typhoon victims. God answers in His own marvelous way. At the same time that they received our offering, they received another small offering. After just meager amounts of food over the course of the month since the super typhoon, these beautiful people not only had food to take home, but were able to have food to eat right at the distribution!

BECAUSE OF YOUR GENEROSITY

Thank you to those that gave to this great need! After the super typhoon, the only help they received from their government was the restoration of electricity for those that had it. Some no longer had a home to receive this help. With their crops utterly destroyed, many have no food or hope of survival. Thanks to those that gave, we were able to send  help. This donation was enough to buy rice, canned goods, noodles, coffee, sugar, and bread and milk for the children. We were able to give to 60 families! The people were  crying that God provided food for them! Please keep this need in prayer. It will be January before they can replant their crops and months before they can harvest food.

We were able to send life giving aide! Praise God!!

PHILIPPINES: HOLDING ONTO HOPE
With the scope of the devastation from Super Typhoon Mangkhut, locally known as Super Typhoon Ompong, it will take some time before help can get to many of the remote villages. When a Hurricane hits here in the United States, many organizations rush to help within days. In less than two weeks 97% of the people in the Carolinas have their power restored. Aid is pouring in from all over.
Not so in other areas of the world. It could take weeks before help arrives. In a mountainous area where the typhoon hit, there is a small village. All of their crops were destroyed. The storm blew the roofs off some of the homes. Some people lost all their food. Others had enough for a day or two.
We would like send aide in the form of money for food. Our Prayer Partner lives near a city but goes to church in this village on the mountain. As the Lord blesses, we would like to send an offering to help them until the aid reaches them. We cannot do this alone! We need your help. Please consider giving.
