PUERTA PLATA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN REJOICE

We had two nights of outdoor revival meetings planned in Puerta Plata. This is the first city that God sent me to in the Dominican Republic back in 2006. Pastor Apolinaria set up these meetings in an open field near the main road in her community. It rained briefly both days but by the evening, the weather was fine. Posters have been hung, a large platform was set up, there were microphones for eight people and the musical instruments were all ready to go. There were chairs set up in front of the platform and on the left and the right sides. Many people gathered on the streets that were on both sides of the field. Others gathered on the porches outside of the homes and in front on the local businesses. As usual, the sound of the singing, the prayers and the preaching projects far beyond the immediate area of the meeting. I preached the first night and Pastor Omar preached the second night.
I preached out of Isaiah 35 about the promise that God would heal the lame, the blind, the deaf and the mute. I finished my message preaching on the most important decision that any person can make in their life, to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
In Jesus day, the people had to make decisions. They chose Barabbas over Jesus. They chose to cry out crucify him. One thief chose to accept him and one thief chose to reject him. But Jesus also had to make a decision. He decided to die for the sins of all mankind rather than have his young life spared.
The first night 13 people made the right decision to accept Jesus Christ into their life as their savior.
Pastor Omar preached on the unconditional love of God. He finished his message by talking about the seven sprinklings of the Old Testament priests in the Tabernacle. Then he talked about the blood leaving Jesus’ body in seven different places. Many more people repented of their sins at the altar on the second night. The angels of God in Heaven were certainly rejoicing as these people gave their lives to Christ. All of us feel the presence of the Holy Spirit so strong during these meetings that we continue to feel a very, very strong presence of the Lord well into the night. Thank you for all of your prayers and please continue to pray for us as we continue to reap the Lord’s harvest. God bless you from the Dominican Republic.

SAN JOSE DE OCOA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – EVIL SPIRITS GOING WILD

We are in San Jose de Ocoa for only one night. It is a city situated in the mountains of the southern region of the Dominican Republic. Our meeting tonight got a little bit wild. Many people who were not Christians were invited to the meeting. To my knowledge, every non-Christian asked Jesus into their heart as their savior. I counted 18 people that came to Christ tonight. Hallelujah!
As in the other meetings, people who could not see well, after prayer, they could see, people with back pain, leg pain, and full body pain were all reporting that they were fully healed. Praise God!
I prayed for one man who told me that he needed deliverance. Unfortunately, he did not get delivered at that time. About 15 minutes later, because he had evil spirits operating in his life, when the presence of God was so strong in the church, he started getting quite wild. He started getting totally out of control. He was pushing lots of chairs around and getting angry at anybody who tried to stop him or contain him. He looked like he was going to start attacking the people. Everyone started praying but nobody was doing anything to stop him. Finally, one man went over to try and contain him but I could see he was struggling. So, I went to help him. As I did, my hand apparently hit a chair which cut my wrist. There was quite a bit of blood all over my hand so I went next door to wash it. The man who needed deliverance quieted down. Pastor Omar, Evangelist Rafael and myself prayed for him one more time. This time he did receive deliverance. Glory to God!
We are all grateful the way that God is moving upon so many people here in the Dominican Republic. Thank you very much for all of your prayers.

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – SUNDAY MORNING MEETINGS IN THE CAPITAL CITY

We spent one day in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. This city has a population of about 2 million people. Pastor Cruz, our host Pastor, was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are so many people attending his church that they have to have three services on Sunday morning. God has blessed his ministry with the best sound and video equipment that I have seen in any church here in the Dominican Republic. Not long ago, Prophet T.B. Joshua from Nigeria, who was quite famous, was invited by the President of the Dominican Republic to preach two nights in the biggest stadium in the country. Pastor Cruz was the one who organized these meetings.
Pastor Omar Harris did a great job in the second meeting bringing a powerful message about different women in the Bible who met men at the well and how each meeting brought forth salvation. In the third meeting I preached on the power of Satan, the power granted to Christians and the power of God. The Holy Spirit took over and people flooded the altar for prayer at the end of the meeting. Many souls asked Jesus into their heart this morning. Every person who asked the Lord to be healed, was healed. Praise the Lord!
Several years ago, the Lord spoke to me and told me he has given me the gifts of healing as found in 1 Corinthians 12:9. Since then the amount of people who get healed in our meetings has dramatically increased. Whoever God chooses to use in this manner must always point everyone to Jesus, must always give God all the glory and must tell the people that their salvation is infinitely more important than their healing. Because Jesus loves people so much, he has great compassion on them. The promise to heal our bodies, as well as to save our souls, are contained within God’s word. God bless you from the Dominican Republic.

SANTIAGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – GOD IS CALLING

Here in the Dominican Republic God is calling so many people. We thank God for all the people that he has been healing on this trip, but we know that the greater call is to salvation. We have been doing nightly outdoor revival meeting where the greatest miracle is the salvation of their souls. At the end of each meeting, we always call people down to the altar for their soul’s salvation. Some people are slow to answer this portion of the altar call. Because of this, we always have all the Christians pray and the Holy Spirit starts convicting people’s hearts and drawing them to the altar.
This is the third night of working with Pastor Osvaldo Torres in Santiago. Many people came down for salvation. Once again, it wasn’t just adults, but teenagers and children, too, that came an answered the call to give their life to Christ Jesus. Twenty-five people accepted Jesus as their savior tonight! Praise the Lord! The alter workers then take their information so that they can be contacted later and encouraged to start attending church.
Pastor Osvaldo Torres, the pastor that we are working with here, is the head of the Pastors’ Association in Santiago. He has set up some great meetings for us. We are making plans to do meetings in a large domed stadium in Santiago in the near future. This stadium has a seating capacity of 10,000 people. He lines these meetings up all of the time. He has provided professional video men and opened up the door that we can preach regularly on his radio and television programs. I am very humbled the way the Lord has chosen to use us.
In these reports we only give a glimpse of what is actually happening here. I am very happy with this team that God has put together. We compliment each other 100 percent. Each one of us; Pastor Omar, Evangelist Rafael, and myself; minister a little bit differently, but together we have the desire to glorify God and see many lives changed. That is what is truly happening. I want to thank you personally for all of your prayers for this trip. Here in the Dominican Republic God is certainly answering prayers. God bless you.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN

God has given us the opportunity to minister to some people who have had great needs in their life. A young lady that Evangelist Rafael knows was born with a withered hand. She recently had an operation on her leg that did not go well leaving her with continual pain in that leg. Today we prayed for her over the phone by video chat. Feeling started coming into her hand for the first time in her life! The withered hand had been very hard. As we prayed, the hand became soft and she started moving her fingers. She then started to open up her hand. She had never been able to hold anything in her hand but, after prayer, she picked up a small bottle and held it in the hand that had been withered. Praise the Lord! We then prayed for her leg and the pain left. She could walk much better.
In tonight’s revival meeting, the Lord had me to call out four people for prayer before I preached. We all prayed for them in front of the people to show them that God is still doing miracles for people in the day that we live.
One Pastor that we prayed for has been going through the trial of Job. Only six months ago he lost his 17-year-old son and, just a short while ago, he lost his little four-year-old daughter. Of course, it left him totally heart broken. He also had a physical need. He had three hernias that left his body full of pain in his back, his side and in his leg. As we prayed for him for a complete healing, the Holy Spirit overshadowed him and he started moving freely. He was being quickened by the power of God to show everybody that Jesus had just healed this Pastor. We then lined up together on the street. The Pastor and myself had a short race. We sprinted down the road together. The race was very close but he actually beat me to the finish line. This was amazing because only two minutes before he could only slowly walk up for prayer with obvious pain on his face. Wow! Praise the Lord. He is great and greatly to be praised!
The next woman also had three hernias and could barely move her back. But as we prayed with her, she started bending over and almost touching her toes. Hallelujah!
Another woman’s stomach was swollen and she could barely keep any food down. If she ate, she experienced severe pain. We prayed for her and then I told her to go to the store and purchase some food and eat it. She bought some food and something to drink. She proceeded to eat it in front of us. She was smiling because God had made her completely whole.
