PAKISTAN: SURPRISED

Many people that want prayer are coming by the home that we are staying in. A woman had female health problem consisting of continual burning, pain and pressure. As we prayed, she was immediately healed. She then went upstairs and brought her daughter down to me. The daughter had a growth on her neck. As we prayed for her, she was healed also.

Another woman had shoulder pain. Her son has had breathing problems since he was six years old. We prayed for them in the name of Jesus and they were both completely healed. Praise the Lord forever!

One man came for prayer because he had recently been run over by a tractor. He had pain all throughout his body with the worst pain being in his side. He couldn’t bend over. The pain he was in was very severe. As we prayed for him a very surprised look came on his face. Then a big smile spread across his face. He proceeded to move around in every direction bending and twisting. He could move freely without pain. Jesus completely healed him!

The Lord is truly here moving upon so many people here in Pakistan. Glory to God!

Ready, … set, …

… will you help us go? … We finally got a VISA to Pakistan! I will be going July 1 – August 1, but we need your support. We need finances to go to all the places we would like to go to. We need your prayers as this is a very dangerous country to go to.

Bible Distribution in Pakistan

Please consider helping. Pray about it. See what God would have you do. Your prayers for this trip are very critical, but without the finances, we cannot do everything we would like to. You can sew a precious seed that will reap a good harvest. All who have given finances to this Ministry have received great blessings.

Whichever you do, pray or give a financial blessing, it will be greatly appreciated and it is greatly necessary. God bless you.

TRIBAL VILLAGE ON THE MOUNTAIN IN THE PHILIPPINES

The air is full of moisture. It is very humid. Torrential rains beat down every evening. It is the rainy season. We must get our work done before the nightly rains start.

The food is scarce but travel down to the stores is very dangerous. Any time anyone goes outside of our territory, the other tribes hunt them down. The men, and sometimes even the women, carry guns any time they must travel. It is not safe for the women and children to travel without the men to protect them. If anyone of our tribe gets killed, then my tribe will not rest until one of their tribe gets killed in exchange. A life for a life.

I feel safest in our village. We live high up on the mountain. The way up here is hard to climb especially in the rainy season. During this time the 2-3-hour journey is especially dangerous. There is a lot of mud which makes it easy to slip and fall. A fall could be little stumble or it could be 100 feet down. Then there is the bridge. It is a series of short pieces of steel bars hooked together. There are ropes holding the bridge up and more ropes to hold onto when you cross. The bridge is high up over the river. With all of the rains, the river is flowing very fast. This makes it dangerous for the other tribes to come to our village. That makes our village safer.

Food is getting scarce. I hope the rice crop is bigger this year. The men will go hunting tomorrow. A nice pig, goat, some wild chickens or anything big would taste good! We will look for some frogs and worms in the woods until then. If we are lucky, we will get a rat or a snake for supper.

I hear the guns firing. Someone must be dying. My family gets some rice to bring. I wonder if they will slaughter the pig or the cow to offer to the gods? We follow the gun shots to the home to wait for the person to die. Arriving at the home we learned that the grandmother has died. We do the ritual dance and speaking to the dead grandmother before we cook the food. It is customary this way. When the food is done, we will eat. We will continue to bring her food for years to come.

Although it is dangerous, some men will go down the mountain tomorrow.   We need firewood. My friend is building a home. He must go down the mountain, too, to get supplies to build with. Hopefully they can bring some food up.

We used to kill all outsiders that came to our territory. We have learned that some people come to help us, not kill us. They bring help for the sick so we let them come. We are still careful who we let into our territory.

Near the bridge there is running water. This is where we fetch water to drink from. We also wash our clothes and take a bath there. One day when I was by the running water, a group of about 25 people came over the bridge; men, women and there were children, too, and a tall white man. We smiled and welcomed them.

The rains came down hard and fast. The village flooded again. We let our visitors stay in two of the houses in our village. When the rains slowed down, the visitors gathered in a building to have a meeting. The people that where Christians went inside. We were curious. We gathered outside and listened to what was going on. The tall white man they called Pastor. He was from another country far away. He talked about Jesus and how he loves us so much that he died for us and is alive again. He asked for us to come forward for prayer. No one moved. He came out to where we were and told us to come inside. He said that this God sent him from many miles away and on the dangerous path up the mountain to our village so we could be saved. Everyone came in and asked Jesus to come into our hearts and forgive us for the wrongs we have done.

It felt good as I prayed this prayer. I never felt this before when I prayed to the other gods, the gods this man said where false gods. I felt like this Jesus, … he heard me. He touched me with a warmth inside.

Then this tall white Pastor prayed for people that were sick or hurt. Person after person after person … they all got healed! I have never seen such a power before. Everyone that was there got healed. It was amazing. I am so thankful that this God sent them to our village.

Prayer Request

Please pray for us that God will make a way that we can have many more of these meetings in the future. We are talking to a Pastor who sets up large campaign meetings. We are looking into have very large evangelical healing crusades here early next year. Prayers and finances are vital to the success of these meetings. The meetings are held in a very large sports stadium and tens of thousands of people would attend these meetings. God bless from the Philippines.

On the Ring of Fire

We have traveled south to the Island of Mindenao. We are in the city of Cagayan de Oro. It is a city of almost 1 million people and it is located on the north shore. We will be here for the last five days. The day we arrived here they had an earthquake which was measured at 6.2. The effects of the earthquake was not felt on this side of the Island because the quake was on the south shore. The Philippines are on the ring of fire so there is a lot of earthquake activity here.

People are getting healed and saved at a rapid rate in our meetings. For this I am extremely grateful. Many people are praying for these meetings all over the world and the Lord is answering so many prayers around the altars and in the homes.

One man came for prayer and his bones were misaligned in the upper right side of his body. He had continual pain from his shoulder to his waist. As we prayed for him a shocked look came over his face. The great physician straightened his bones out and he was released from all of his pain. Glory to God.

A woman came for prayer and she told us that she struggled to physically lift herself out of bed in the morning or anytime she would lay down. But after prayer she laid down at the altar for a few seconds and then rose up effortlessly. Praise the Lord.

We were asked to go to the hospital and pray for a church member who had just been operated on. She had a large kidney stone removed. It was almost on inch in length. When we arrived her pain medication had just worn off. As we prayed she said most off the pain left. As we went down the road she texted the Pastor’s wife that the rest of the pain left her. God is so faithful.
