We were invited to preach on a radio station on Friday in the city of Santiago in the Dominican Republic. We then went in the same city and preached in a scheduled meeting in a park. About 150 people gathered together to worship the Lord and to hear his word. After I preached God’s word many people came to the altar for salvation.

One woman had tears streaming down her cheeks as Jesus entered into her heart. Several other people also called upon the name of Jesus for their soul’s salvation. We then started praying for those that were sick. What the Lord did next was amazing. Every person that we prayed for told us that as we prayed, all of their pain was gone. Those who could not walk well started walking just fine. Many people with bad backs were healed. They bent over freely and we had each person testify as to what God had done for them. We all glorified God together.

Two people had been in accidents and they had been in pain for months but after prayer they both walked back and forth quickly with no pain. Praise the Lord!

An evangelist who preaches God’s Word all over the world was diagnosed with cancer that had spread throughout much of her body. She was in pain; she was weak and felt sick constantly but she continued performing her ministry anyway. As she got prayer the Lord did a great miracle for her. All of her symptoms disappeared as Jesus removed the cancer from her body.

We then prayed for a little boy who was born blind. As we prayed Jesus opened his eyes. At first he looked a little confused, then his eyes started darting around. He then told me that I had two fingers sticking up. His mother was weeping as she saw her beloved child being healed. Please keep all of us in prayer here in the Dominican Republic.

We have seen the same results on this mission trip to the Dominican Republic as it speaks about in Luke 9:1-2 + 6, “Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. … And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing every where.”

In Saturday night’s meeting a woman and her husband gave their lives to Christ. She also asked for prayer for her backbone which was crooked and cause her constant pain. We prayed for her and commanded her back bone to straighten out in the name of Jesus. My wife, sister Candy, had her hand on the lady’s backbone as we prayed for her. She told me she could feel her backbone moving over. This woman confirmed this by telling us she was completely healed. Before prayer she could only bend over about six inches, but after prayer she bent over at the waist so much that she could have touch the floor with her fingers!

On Sunday night a man came to church in a wheelchair. He had absolutely no feeling in his legs and it was impossible for him to walk unless God gave him a miracle. That is exactly what happened as we prayed for him together. The Lord repaired his nerve damage and feeling came back into his legs. We all started praising God and shouting as he walked out of the wheelchair! He then walked back-and-forth across the altar twice. His legs were extremely weak for he had not used them for years. Glory be to God. It is very exciting when God has great compassion on people and heals them just as we read about in the Bible.

The next man that came up for prayer had been in a construction accident a few months back. His side was still in pain. I told the people that they needed to clear the center aisle because myself and this young man were going to have a race up the aisle.  He looked over me at me like I was a little bit crazy. We prayed for him and God healed him. We then sprinted up the aisle together. When our race was finished, he was so happy that he hugged me. In case you were wondering, I did win the race, according to all of the witnesses, but it was very close.

God has been using sister Candy in a special way on this mission trip. On Sunday night a sister came up for prayer. She had pain in her right shoulders. As Sister Candy laid her hands upon her shoulder and prayed for her, the pain left right away.

Next person to come up for prayer was a sister that was walking with a cane. I told her, “You can throw that cane away now because you are about to be healed!” She took the cane and threw it under her chair. Sister Candy laid hands on both of her knees and prayed for her. Jesus healed her completely. This woman had no use for her cane anymore!

We are all full of joy, rejoicing in what the Lord is doing here in the Dominican Republic. Thank you for all of your prayers!

When we pray for people, some healings you see right away and others you do not knowuntil later. At Saturday night’s meeting we had people testify. It is so exciting! Here are some of the testimonies from prayers they received last year when we were here:

Madelyn, a Song Leader, had an extra bone on top of her foot. It caused her a lot of pain. The doctors scheduled her for surgery. Sister Candy and I laid hands on her foot and prayed the bone would dissolve. After prayer the bone was gone. There was nothing for the Doctors to remove!

Matilda testified that her son had an eye defect. The left eye was worse than the right. Doctors could do nothing for him. After prayer, God totally healed him!

Brother William, a Preacher, testified. He had to walk with a cane or else he would fall over. After prayer God healed his legs and he leapt and ran. He is still healed today, a year later.

After hearing all of the miraculous testimonies, we prayed for the people. Everyone we prayed for received their answer! Souls were saved and people were healed! Glory to God!!

God has been healing many people here in the Dominican Republic. We prayed for a woman who was the secretary of a church that we often preach in. Her left arm was in pain. She could not lift it up. It was wrapped up in a bandage. As we prayed, a surprised look came over her face as Jesus healed her. She then lifted up her arm and removed the bandage. She had been out of work due to her physical condition but after prayer she went back to work right away.
One woman came up to the altar with a bad back, with neck pain and severe pain in one of her knees. She was healed of all 3 afflictions. She had been limping when she walked up to the altar for prayer. After we all prayed for her and she told us she was healed, we had her walk back and forth normally. After she walked for a minute, she started running. Praise the Lord!

The next two ladies who came for prayer with back pain were both healed. Sister Candy then prayed for a young girl about 5 years old who had a breathing condition. As she prayed, the little girl was quickly healed.
Another woman came for prayer who had trouble breathing. As we prayed for her, she started breathing fine. We tested her by having three of us whose breathing was normal breathe into the microphone. Then she breathed into the microphone and we all sounded exactly the same.

This trip has been such a blessing because Sister Candy has been praying along with me at the altar for the people. She has so much love and compassion that God moves upon many people as she prays for them. She greeted the church the first night telling them that she has come home.
