DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MONDAY NIGHT STREET MEETING

Every Monday night, the members of Pastor Apolinaria’s church have an outside evangelistic street meeting in her village. The music is quite loud. The neighbors bring out chairs from their homes and everyone worships the Lord in song. Tonight I was scheduled to preach the word of God. I preached about the two roads people travel on, the broad road that leads to destruction and the narrow road that leads to everlasting life. At the altar call three people gave their life to Christ.
One young man had been in a terrible motorcycle accident eight months ago in which God spared his life. Tonight was his night for salvation. He came to the altar call, repented of his sins and Jesus saved his soul.
Our team is bless even walking to the meetings and on the way back from the meetings, we sing most of the way as we walk down the village streets.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC -PUERTA PLATA”I’M HOME!”

We are staying in Puerta Plata which is a city of about 150,000 people on the north shore of the Dominican Republic. Pastor Apolinaria is our host pastor. She is the first Pastor that God sent me to in 2006.
Today we went to the radio station. The Presence of the Lord filled the whole station. The owner of the station and his wife live downstairs and the Holy Spirit touches them too. He told us that any time we have large activities to contact him and he will advertise our activities on his radio at no change.
Sunday evening we preached in Pastor Apolinaria’s main church. For the first time in many years the church was filled to overflowing. Every seat was filled and several people had to stand outside the back door. The visitation of the Holy Spirit was very strong tonight. In each and every song you could feel God’s power coming down on the people. Three of the songs that they sang in Spanish, my wife, Missionary Candy, sang in English. I was switching back and forth between the English and the Spanish. Tonight the Lord was reaching out to lost souls. Five people gave their lives to Christ tonight; that is the greatest miracle that happens in any of our meetings. We often report about God healing different people, but what we report is just a few examples of all he is doing among the people. I noticed this trip that my wife has more confidence to speak, often in the services, and she prays right along with me often laying hands on the ladies as they come for prayer.
Director Darlene is filming everything, which can be quite a lot because myself and the interpreter, Evangelist Rafael, move throughout the audience quite a bit was we minister and pray for the people.
Tonight, one woman came for prayer with bad knees and a heart condition. She was struggling to walk. She was in pain and would become winded when she walked a short distance. After prayer, one minute later we had her race a woman up and down the center aisle of the church. She ran like there was never anything wrong with her.
Our whole team is so happy to be here ministering to the people. It is Director Darlene’s first mission trip. My wife, Missionary Candy, could not come last year due to Covid’s restrictions. She testified that she is home with her family here in the Dominican Republic.
Please continue to keep these meetings in your prayers.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – HAITIAN CHURCH

I noticed every single person, even the children, worshipped the Lord with all of their hearts during the song service. One lady had trouble breathing and had heart pain. When she walked, she would be exhausted. After prayer we had her race another lady. They ran up the aisle from the alter to the back of the church twice. She was fully healed! Her lungs were fine and her heart pain was gone. Hallelujah!

Another woman had pain in both of her shoulders. On one of her shoulders the tissue was too thin around the bone. After prayer, all the pain was gone and she could lift her arm up and swung them around quite easily. She had a big smile on her face as Jesus healed her.

One young girl about ten years old had been having a lot of problems with her eyes. She would have pain in her eyes and her vision was very blurry. When she came into church, her blurry vision made it hard to enjoy the service. But Jesus healed her eyes and she testified that she could see everything perfectly clear after prayer. Praise the Lord!

The Holy Spirit had me observing the people. I had great confidence that God was going to do many signs and wonders among the people tonight because of the song service. Every one of them were worshipping with all of their heart. As I was observing, the Holy Spirit told me that because all of the people worshipped God with all of their hearts, he would be answering all of the prayers of the people at the alter call tonight.

The team worked hard during the meeting. Director Darlene Dewey was filming everything. Evangelist Rafael Bordet was interpreting the message and praying for the people at the altar call. I ministered God’s word and prayed for the people and my wife, Missionary Candy Teachman, was laying hands on the people at the altar. God bless you for the Dominican Republic.
