In the Bible Jesus saw a great multitude of people, many of which had great needs in their lives. He was moved with compassion towards them, healing those that were sick. Matthew 14:14 The same thing is happening in the day that we live. I want to share two testimonies of two people that Jesus had compassion on during the last few days here in Santiago.
One man came to the altar in obvious pain. A chair had to be brought to him so he could sit down as all of us prayed from him. For a few minutes his face showed us that the pain in his back and leg was still present. So, we continued to pray for him. Then the Lord started healing him. We told him to get up out of the chair and start to walk by faith back and forth across the altar. At first, he was having difficulty walking but as he continued to believe God and praise the Lord, the Holy Spirit took over. He started walking faster and faster. I felt within my spirit that he was completely healed. I told him he could start running. He took several laps around all of the people at the altar. People were shouting, praising the Lord and glorifying God throughout the whole church. All the glory belongs to our God. Hallelujah!
In another meeting a woman came up for prayer. She told us that six months ago she fell two stories and injured her back severely. When the doctors examined her, they found that her spine had become curved from the impact of the fall. This caused her continual pain. She could barely sleep at night. Even when she tried to sit in a chair, the pain was almost unbearable. She continued to faithfully come to church but with great effort from this tremendous physical need. I called two sisters to gently put their hands upon her back as we all prayed together for her at the altar. I was seeing in the spirit that Jesus was straightening out her backbone. Her countenance fully changed after prayer. I had her place her hand on her spine in the area that had been curved. She told me that now it is completely straight! She said that all the pain was completely gone. So, we had her bend her back and twist her back in every direction. She did this quite easily. Hallelujah!
Just as Jesus had compassion and met the severe physical needs of these two people, he will also have great compassion upon you and your family as you pray in faith.
